Every morning my hubby gets up and heads for the woods to pray, he usually goes pretty early, it has been around 18 degrees lately at that time, he is back there for an hour or more. Every morning my two dogs go with him, loyal servants desiring to be with their master. Well yesterday after morning prayer one of the dogs went off to play, chase rabbits and such, things dogs do. He was missing the rest of the day. He came slowly walking up the driveway last evening and as my son was out praying in the pasture the dog came to him. He put his head between my sons lower legs and as my son bent down, he realized our dog, so aptly named "Amigo" (spanish for friend) was all bloody. He came up to the house to see him better in the porch light. He had a hole in his neck, a big one, and his collar was missing. Who knows what happened to him. It is hunting season and some will shoot anything. He has a hole so big that his windpipe is punctured. But he still wags his tail when you look at him. We covered him with a blanket and prayed. It was 16 when I got up this morning, Amigo was still alive. When hubby got up, our dear Amigo who is so faithful, even though he had literally been through hell the day before, he went with my hubby to pray this morning. He is a lesson of faithfullness for us all. Will we continue to follow and sit at the feet of our master no matter what happens? Even if the demonic literally tries to rip your head off and steal your identity? Will we still pursue the King??? love y'all

Well Jim has this saying that if I'm not pregnant everything else ought to be! And I'm not pregnant, but guess what we have coming? Our dairy cow is due to have her calf the end of Dec, and then we have 6 foals (baby horses) due within the next few months! I'll keep you posted, there is no greater miracle than life.
