Anything we do in life is always easier if we have already seen someone else do it successfully. We can live the Christian life because we have a bible full of testimonies to hold onto. We can see the examples of our family and friends around us that may or may not be following the path that the Lord has led for us. Especially for homeschoolers, there is that "what next" question. We know we are called to something other than the normal 9-5 away from our families, but what? Where do you start? Somebody show us somebody who has done it! I remember years ago when we had only our first 3 children, the oldest being 3, my second child, a son, was very energetic. My husband was a very good provider and a hard worker but since we lived in Southern California with lots of traffic he was rarely home. I loved my children dearly and loved the Lord dearly but had no idea how to put it all together. We moved to Tennessee and had a wonderful house in the country, yet I continued to be overly stressed. It was common for my husband to come home to a crying wife as I sobbed, "I can't do this, I can't do this." I was right, I couldn't do it, not by myself anyway.

Not just the lives of stay at home mothers, but anyone who struggles with finding personal time with Jesus. Everyone from the President of the United States to children of reading age and up can benefit from this book. It teaches us to commune with God in every phase of our lives.
We have since gone on to have 5 more children, for a total of 8, yet there is peace in our home. I had to learn the hard way, with lots of pain and struggles, but others won't have to. Kimberly's book is an answer to prayer, I only wish she had written it 13 years earlier. Even though I had already found the same answers before reading her book, it reminded me of my favorite place, on my front porch in a rocking chair, with a baby on my lap singing to the Lord. I still need reminding sometimes that Jesus meets me there.
